{"id":442,"date":"2020-05-08T18:28:11","date_gmt":"2020-05-08T18:28:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/maq.dreamhosters.com\/rapid-response\/?p=442"},"modified":"2020-11-04T18:42:33","modified_gmt":"2020-11-04T18:42:33","slug":"issue-1-medical-anthropology-weekly-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/modil.io\/rapid-response\/2020\/05\/issue-1-medical-anthropology-weekly-covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Issue 1 | Medical anthropology weekly: COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">mid-April \u2013 May 4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an effort to highlight the vital perspectives of medical anthropology and neighboring disciplines, as well as to help manage the volume of material being published online, the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.medanthro.net\/\">Society for Medical Anthropology<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/modil.io\/\"><em>Medical Anthropology Quarterly<\/em><\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/somatosphere.net\/\"><em>Somatosphere<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;are collaborating to publish a weekly compilation of COVID-19-related materials across text, audio, and video formats. Each issue of \u201cMedical anthropology weekly: COVID-19\u201d will consist of a list of pieces published roughly over the past week, grouped thematically and including keywords for easy searching. In this first issue, we\u2019ve also included a list of ongoing series and resource sites. Each issue will also be published on the SMA,&nbsp;<em>MAQ<\/em>, and&nbsp;<em>Somatosphere<\/em>&nbsp;sites and distributed over multiple channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019d like to suggest a piece to be listed in an upcoming issue, please add it to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1nAVaV8lYGjPwU1cBJ3LVKBhBUC_Bw7AELEZaYlNQw_Q\/edit#gid=1952569639\">this public spreadsheet<\/a>.
